As a touring Bluesman throughout the world it is an honor to be represented on television, in print ads and on online banners inviting people from Germany, the UK and Japan to come to our fine state to enjoy the great Blues entertainment that we have from Chicago to Peoria to Woodstock you can always find some great music in the Home of the Blues.
And wherever I go throughout the state driving my Eddy Clearwater LUV MOBILE, we stop along the way for some of the best BBQ and fine dining in America.

The festival finale is a show stopper at 8 p.m. with Chicago Blues: Old School, New Millennium featuring James Cotton, John Primer, Billy Branch, Eddy "The Chief" Clearwater, Lil' Ed, Deitra Farr, Demetria Taylor, Matt Skoller, Billy Flynn, Johnny Iguana, Felton Crews & Kenny "Beedeyes" Smith. This extraordinary set provides testament of the tradition and artistic genius that has established Chicago as the true "Blues Capitol of the World."

Farewell Good Friend -
MAGIC SLIM
| Another great Bluesman who I have had the pleasure of working with, touring with over many decades has gone to Blues Heaven. Magic Slim was a giant in the world of Blues. His manager and my good friend, Marty Salzman have worked together on shows and Blues festivals. Paying tribute to him at the Mayne Stage in Chicago was one big family reunion. In the Blues community we are there for each other in hard times. The benefit concert featured the Teardrops, Magic Slims son.

Over 20 Blues musicians & singers including; Zac Harmon, Otis Clay, Billy Branch, Jimmy Johnson performed. Our set included Dave Specter, Melvin Smith, Shoji Naito and the powerful, Blues of Grana Louise.
